Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now an actor from Romania and Germany. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles for instance, the lead in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall the role she played as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Alexandra worked on several important international and national projects through the years. They include the British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical mini-series Napoleon among others. She was also part of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
