Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian TV presenter and actress. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into the showbiz world early and was performing lead roles in various TV dramas before she reached the age of 16. The audience was impressed by her role in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this actress. Alexandra's career has seen her participate in several important national and international projects. Some of these comprise British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon as well as many other. She was also an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and at the Cannes Film Festival.
